This will begin at 9 a.m. and run until noon.<br /><br />According to the church website, the service beings at 9 a.m., during which time Pastor Dane will bless each of any animals present.<br /><br />”Bring your family pet (fish, rabbit, dog, cat, etc) to our Blessing of the Animals Service,” the website reads, going on to caution that all animals must be on a leash or in a carrier – and to not bring any aggressive animals.<br /><span class=”text_exposed_show” style=”display: inline;”><br />Following the service, there will be a fair featuring the many animal-centered services and businesses in the area. These include:<br />• Ice cream (for the pets) by Bruster’s<br />•A Frisbee demonstration by Ashley Hill Pet Center<br />•Gift basket giveaways<br />•Local veterinarians and business to share more information about their field<br />•Pet adoptions<br /><br />First United Methodist Church is located at 400 South Broad St., Monroe.
