Many pet owners are struggling to keep their pets fed in a challenging economy. To help keep pets in their homes and out of shelters, Walton Animal Guild has partnered with F.I.S.H. (Faith in Serving Humanity), a local non-profit food bank, to provide pet food for pet owners in need. For info about food availability, contact FISH at (770) 207-4357 or visit 700 S. Madison Avenue, Monroe, GA.
WAG donates pet food for the pantry at least twice monthly, collected through purchase or donations by businesses or individuals. The pet-loving public is a tremendous asset and helps us keep this important resource available to needy pet owners.
If you have some pet food you can’t use, please consider dropping off your extra pet food at the pantry between 9:00 am and noon, Monday – Friday, or contact WAG and we can arrange to accept the donation from you.
We also accept monetary donations by clicking on the “Donate” button on the upper left of this screen. You can indicate that you would like your donation to go toward the pet food pantry.
Are you part of an organization (Scouts, church, business, neighborhood, school) that would like to hold a pet food drive?
Donation drives are a great way for organizations to help both animals and people in our community. Contact us at (770) 207-1896 or email wagvolunteer@gmail.com for more info about this type of community project. We can provide you with some tips, sample flyers and additional information to get you started!
