Just thought you’d be interested in an update of our February events.<br /><br />”Operation Big Fix,” our spay/neuter project, has been very successful. We’ve done 9 surgeries since the flyers were distributed on February 2. WAG promised free s/n for the first 24 residents signed up from areas we canvassed. We’ve transported a few, others were able to come on their own. The Walton Tribune will be penning a short story about our efforts, so keep an eye out for that.<br /><br />Our first adoption event at Boss Bros. went off without a hitch this weekend. We brought 14 animals, 4 were adopted – which was about one for each hour we were there. Not bad for a start!<br /><br />Here are a few photos: <div><div><br /><div></div>Some happy adopters<br /><div></div><br /><div><a href=”http://bp0.blogger.com/_GGzq-xpWRuI/R7Cke5Xj89I/AAAAAAAAACo/_RWuKEIjU2k/s1600-h/Adopters.jpg”><img id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5165809623296635858″ style=”FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand” alt=”” src=”http://bp0.blogger.com/_GGzq-xpWRuI/R7Cke5Xj89I/AAAAAAAAACo/_RWuKEIjU2k/s200/Adopters.jpg” border=”0″ /></a> </div><div><img id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5165809825160098786″ style=”DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center” alt=”” src=”http://bp3.blogger.com/_GGzq-xpWRuI/R7CkqpXj8-I/AAAAAAAAACw/0vBIzrCnbhU/s200/Boxer+Blanket.jpg” border=”0″ /> Joe was a little chilly, so we wrapped him up!<br /></div><div></div><br /><div><a href=”http://bp0.blogger.com/_GGzq-xpWRuI/R7Ck75Xj8_I/AAAAAAAAAC4/AebwbcsqgAw/s1600-h/Dogs.jpg”><img id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5165810121512842226″ style=”FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand” alt=”” src=”http://bp0.blogger.com/_GGzq-xpWRuI/R7Ck75Xj8_I/AAAAAAAAAC4/AebwbcsqgAw/s200/Dogs.jpg” border=”0″ /></a></div><div> </div><div>Up front and in plain view.</div><div> </div><div><br /><br /></div><div>Thanks so much to our member volunteers Susan Boss and the Boss Bros. staff, Lee Ann Wilkinson, Karen Dean, Robbie Thomas, Laura Templeton, Jessie Romer and Nancy Holdren, plus a few assorted friends who helped out.
