Would you like to volunteer and help animals, but don’t always have the time? Do you want to show your children the value of giving back to their community, but are challenged to find something to fit into an already hectic family schedule? Or maybe you’re a Scout, young student or an adult needing community service project hours. We welcome these “Occasional” volunteers and created a day just for you!
Our first WAG Helping Hands Day will be Saturday, February 4, at Tractor Supply in Monroe, GA. New volunteers are welcome to join us from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. as we educate the community about WAG and animal issues, take donations for our pet food pantry, and try to find homes for some very deserving pets!
Young volunteers are encouraged to come, however anyone under age 13 must be accompanied by a parent. To make sure we can accommodate everyone, please let us know if you plan to attend by emailing wagwalton@yahoo.com.
But if you can’t make it this time, don’t worry- we’ll schedule another Helping Hands Day in the very near future!
